Departmental Profile
The main laboratory in the D Block is equipped with two fully automated random access analyzers, two CLIA System, one HPLC, one ELISA Reader, two coagulometers and two electrolyte analyzers. To reduce the number of visits to the hospital Prothrombin time test reports are delivered to the outdoor patients within two hours after receipt to the sample. The department is participating in the External Quality Assurance Scheme of Christian Medical Association, CMC Vellore. Three of our faculty members are on the panel of Assessors of NABL under the Department of Science and Technology.
